Set up a clearer team handoff with AURA Workspace

Prepare team responsibilities, task context and access boundaries for AURA Workspace so a handoff explains what happens next and who owns it.

A team handoff fails when the next person cannot tell what is ready, what is blocked or who owns the decision. AURA Workspace provides team coordination and business operations through authorised modules. Start with a small, clearly defined workflow.

Choose one shared process

Select a recurring piece of work such as preparing an internal update or reviewing a project deliverable. Write the starting event, the required result and the people involved. Avoid moving every business process into a new workspace at once.

Decide which information belongs in the shared context and which should remain in its authorised source system. A task summary can point to the right record without copying sensitive data into a wider audience.

Write a handoff that answers four questions

  • What is ready? identify the deliverable and its accepted version.
  • What needs attention? describe the open issue and its impact.
  • Who acts next? give one clear owner for the next step.
  • How is completion checked? name the evidence or review needed.

A useful handoff is a concise operating note, not a long history of every conversation. Link only to material the receiving team is permitted to open.

Check the team’s actual access

Confirm organisation membership and the permissions required for the workflow. Available modules, seats and current offers should be verified against the live product. Access held by one administrator does not imply that every team member can see the same records.

GlobalIETA Mail is a separate product, so do not assume Workspace seat terms include mailbox provisioning. After the first handoff, ask the receiving person which context was missing and refine the template. The goal is an understandable next action with appropriate access.
